Typically 3–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth, hormones, and frequency of waxing. After repeated appointments, intervals often lengthen. We recommend scheduling every four weeks for consistent smoothness and optimal regrowth reduction.

Waxing can sometimes cause ingrown hairs, but proper technique and aftercare reduce risk. Exfoliate gently two to three times weekly, avoid tight clothing immediately after, and use soothing aftercare products. If persistent, consult us for tailored treatments and advice.

Arrive with 1/4 inch hair length (about two weeks growth). Avoid heavy deodorant, fresh sun exposure, or retinol products 48 hours prior. Cleanse the area; we’ll perform a consultation and patch test if needed for safety.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first waxing, but most clients find it tolerable. Techniques, warm wax, quick strips, and experienced technicians reduce pain. Using numbing cream upon request or regular waxing sessions can lessen sensitivity over time.

We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying deodorant or antiperspirant to allow pores to close and prevent irritation. Use gentle, fragrance‑free products after 24 hours and avoid aluminum-based formulas for extra sensitivity.

Most people can be waxed, but contraindications include sunburned, irritated, or recently shaved skin, active infections, recent chemical peels, blood-thinning medications, or certain skin conditions. Disclose medications and medical history during consultation so we can ensure safe treatment or recommend alternatives.
